Question   Fabulous Photos
Kathy,
I just looked at your egrets and herons. Some of your shots (a lot of them) are absolutely amazing. You do beautiful work. I just started trying to capture them on film but do not have as nice of equiptment as you. Seems like you must be near a good place to shoot them. I need to come back and look at your other work. My best work is with macro photography and flowers. I live in Minnesota

Question   camera equipment
Hi Kathy,
Your work is exceptional! Could I ask what lenses you're using for the birds in flight? And the heron in the new photos category is stunningly sharp. Were you on a tripod and what lens? Thanks so much - and thanks for such great photographs!

- Laurie Watson 2/4/2010 4:47:49 PM

Answer I use a Canon 100-400mm for 95% of my images.
Thank you so much for you kind message!

Hi Kathy,
I just happened to pick your website from the list of Betterpholios and I am truly amazed and inspired by your beautiful images!
They are truly works of art and display such a peace and tranquility in them...they do point to our awesome Creator!
Thank you for inspiring me to pick up my camera and "get back in the groove"! I've been out of it for quite a while due to health issues....but I won't let that stop me anymore!
Just lovely works of art...I can't state it any better!
